O---so they are faux Holgas...
well--alittle disappointing--but still--
very impressionable.
Just be sure to state that --so that its understood..
especially for purist...:)
:icondrcaligari:
Lol, the true purist can see at once that these are Photoshop made ones :-)
This level of multiexposure alone (with this detail) is nearly impossible in most cases.
Hence the title of the project : Holga Ghost :-)

i have been able to do it....
straight from the camera...
not that i am boosting...
I was actually really glad to find someone else who could as well...
O well--
i was taken back by the edges of the image---but i figured they were prints---

Check my other reply, structures/grains straight from gear?(teasing). I only get grain from manipulating my film during development, pushing 6400 ones way up, the grain some films have by themselves or using newspaper grids. Do not get me wrong analog doubleprints are nice, but they are mostly much more cleaner. Thats why they are so nice :-)

again---thanks for the information...
I am a purist in only calling things what they are---
not via knowledge...
dont know much about anything..
and i suppose i should learn to look more deeply to discern texture and grain--

but ---
'manipulating my film during development, pushing 6400 ones way up, the grain some films have by themselves or using newspaper grids.'
sounds very interesting...
*
not that i know what 6400 is ---

No problem, thank you for your replies.
But just curious : if you are not familiar with these techniques, how do you end up with your final result?
(or do you make the exposures and let the film be scanned?)

i send the film to a lab to develop..and they put it onto a CD....
i tweak levels in photoshop---
but as to the multi-exposures---i just get snap happy---turning camera and at times slightly advancing film--that will be will there are some straight lines between images.
ITs funny because the lab had at first called me to say the roll of film was no good---
'wHY' it seems there are several exposures etc etc
'No--i want it like that...'
*
most of the photos are complete experiments---and i've been really content with results---
however--i haven't been able to accomplish a clean ---Holga---in other words---an singular image---
